“While developing the medical program, the foundation adheres to a systematic approach: we not only promote the construction of high-tech surgical departments, but also organize advanced training courses and master classes with leading international surgeons for doctors working in these hospitals. The cities where modern surgical complexes are built were not chosen by chance: these organizations are the only specialized medical institutions that serve tens of thousands of young patients,” Aselle Tasmagambetova, president of the Saby Charitable Foundation, said at the opening.
Earlier, the Saby Foundation, opened by Kenges Rakishev and Aselle Tasmagambetova within the framework of the emergency paediatric surgery project, built departments on the basis of city hospitals in the cities of Almaty, Semey and Aktau. Thus, the total budget of the project amounted to 1 billion 73 million tenge.
