Matt Connelly founded IHI from his bedroom in 2014 and has since grown the Head Office Team to 15, supported by 65 cleaning centres and 100 drivers. The business serves the whole of Greater London and five other cities around the UK, has over 5,000 paying customers and has raised UK pound sterling 900k from Blue Wire Capital (whose Partners were early customers of the business) and other angel investors.
Prior to founding IHI Matt was heavily involved in the early development of Shoreditch/Tech City start-up ecosystem. He founded the area’s first co-working space, The Hatchery on Kingsland Road. He also developed and led an entrepreneurship network of 12 East London universities, securing over 500k of investment to provide pre-seed funding and support to early stage startups coming out of the Universities, as well as leading the Tech City Bootcamps for Digital Entrepreneurs.
Matt began his career at Consultancy firm Mercer, after completing Postgraduate studies at the prestigious Michael Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin.
