Great cuts, color, keratins, layered hair styles, traditional or chic
Washington, D.C, District of Columbia Oct 3, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Daniel Chreky, Washington DC’s architect of hair
For Daniel Chreky, of Daniel’s Salon in Washington, DC, damaged hair is his specialty. I know. I travel hours just to get the “Daniel touch,” to “fix” my coarse chemically processed damaged hair. He corrects the color with his magical potions (he doesn’t use harsh bleach), a Keratin treatment, and then gives me a great layered cut that complements the shape of my face. He makes the damage disappear with the skilled hands of an artist and tells me not to do anything to my hair until I return.
Daniel says damaged hair can never fully recover until it grows back, especially if it’s been over-processed with harsh bleach or heavily styled by someone who doesn’t understand your hair type. Daniel says the only way to get really healthy hair is to let it grow out without damaging it further. That’s something hard for some of us to do when we live far away in an area void of highly skilled hair professionals and it’s sometimes difficult to travel to Daniel’s Salon on a regular basis. We end up experimenting by watching youtube videos that make it look simple, and allowing inexperienced stylists to over-process our hair.
But time and time again, Daniel shakes his head when I walk in the door, chastises me for allowing my hair to be over-processed, and then he makes me look awesome!
I feel confident and beautiful when I leave his elegant salon filled with antiques from Morocco and around the world. Daniel is a trained architect and he considers his work with your hair like an architectural design. He sculpts your hair by cutting it where it needs cutting, frames your face perfectly, colors your hair to match your skin tone and the results are magic! He’s the Frank Lloyd Wright of hair design. His ability to color any type of hair and match it to your skin tone reminds me of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright who blended his homes into the environment. Daniel blends hair and skin tone while correcting damaged overly processed hair with the hands of an architectural artist.
For Daniel, hair requires the skills of an architect. It should frame and flatter your face and it should make you feel confident and beautiful at any age, especially for mature ladies and gentlemen. But honestly, I’ve seen all ages in his salon. You leave Daniel’s Salon with the confidence of a runway supermodel. If you’re 50 plus, you don’t worry about all the years that have gone by when you see your long-time friends at your birthday bash after a style, cut, and color by Daniel (Keratin treatments are his specialty by the way), you feel young again.
His clients range from politicians to anchors to businessmen. In fact, he introduced me to a nice millionaire on my last visit. Daniel’s Salon is where you find DC’s movers and shakers who could take their business anywhere, but they choose Daniel.
You can contact Daniel at Daniel’s Salon, 1831 M Street, Washington, DC 202-293-9393. Tell him Kathy sent you to the architect of hair design.
