Principal Penny McCreery commenced her legal career in 2000 when she began working as a legal secretary and conveyance clerk in Brisbane. She later moved into mortgage conveyancing for two large banks.

She completed her Bachelor of Laws at USQ and her Post Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice at QUT in 2016. She was then admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court in 2017.

As a solicitor, Penny practised in the regional areas of Maryborough, Childers, and Bundaberg, primarily in property law, commercial law, business sales and purchases, family law, and wills and estates.

She later relocated back to Brisbane in 2019, briefly practising in criminal law before joining the Lember and Williams team in 2020. She now predominantly practices in wills and estates, property, business and commercial law.

Through this extensive education, Penny now leverages her experience to support Lember and Williams clients in need of buying or selling a business or property, leasing matters, estate planning and estate administration.

Under her leadership, the firm will service commercial clients who need to sell or acquire businesses, transfer shares, draft leases, interpret agreements, resolve business disputes, and address complex legal issues.

Penny will also lead the firm to service clients in the areas of wills, estate planning and estate administration with her unrivalled knowledge in the area. Land development and subdivisions are also no problem for Penny, with her vast experience in assisting property developers create master planned communities.

Lember and Williams saw Penny as a natural choice for Principal due to her extensive experience in business and commercial law, property, wills and estates. This includes her involvement in acquiring large businesses, national franchises, retail shops, hospitality establishments, and family-operated businesses across various industries; as well as her experience in a range of large scale property developments in the Moreton region.
