Matt West and Matt Cook got together to begin working on Boom Journal. The idea was simple: make mindfulness a habit that is easy and systemically acquired into your lifestyle.
In a few months, we built our first prototype and in early March, we introduced it to the world. The launch – executed over months in our corporate office in Beverly Hills – received an overwhelming response from our followers, friends, potential customers and investors. It was more than we could have imagined.
The past fews months have been filled with some amazing progress. We’ve been building our medium viable service, growing our follower base, hiring graphic designers, and getting ready to redesign the service for our users. Everything with just a small team – until now.
Today, we are thrilled to announce the next big chapter on our journey: a pre-seed funding round of an undisclosed amount.
The funding round empowers us to move more effectively towards fulfilling our mission.
In terms of service we’re focused on being well-positioned to grow our active user base and captivate conscious-focused millennial and Gen-Z wellness enthusiasts through our on-trend tools for the mind.
Furthermore, we are constantly pushing the boundaries and will implement an influencer-based marketing model with a focus on immersive events to promote the brand.
Regarding our ongoing plans, we are excited to announce that we are on track to redesigning our early version of Boom Journal. We’ll continue to gradually introducing various new functionalities and features throughout late 2021.
We are also looking to hire some extraordinary branding people to join us on our journey. Joining Boom Journal at this stage is a beautiful opportunity for those who enjoy helping others and want to play a significant role in how our core service and the whole brand are being shaped.
